PromoteKit is the only affiliate platform that offers a real free plan — not a trial, but a plan where your first 3 referrals cost nothing. This makes it perfect for indie developers who want to validate the concept before spending money.
It's built entirely on top of Stripe with full two-way sync. Setup takes about 2 minutes. The affiliate portal uses passwordless login, which is a nice touch for UX. Multilingual support is included out of the box.
The limitations are real though: the free plan caps at 3 referrals, and the platform is Stripe-only. If you use Paddle or need advanced features like tiered commissions, you'll need to look elsewhere.
Use this as your "try before you buy" option. If affiliate marketing works for your product, graduate to Rewardful or Tolt.
