My Experience
Mullvad is the VPN for people who take privacy seriously. You don't need an email to sign up — they generate a random account number and that's it. Their entire client is open source and they've been independently audited multiple times to verify their no-logs claims.
At €5/month flat, the pricing is simple and fair. They use WireGuard by default which is fast and modern. I've been using Mullvad for years and the speed has always been solid.
If you're looking to unblock Netflix or access geo-restricted content, Mullvad isn't the right tool. But for genuine privacy protection, it's one of the most trustworthy options available.
